Baldwin
Area EMS proudly serves the Villages of Baldwin, Hammond,
Wilson and Woodville, and the towns of Baldwin, Cady, Eau
Galle, Emerald, Erin Prairie, Hammond, Pleasant
Valley, Rush River, Springfield, and Warren in
Western Wisconsin with approximately 11,833 residents
covering 213 square miles.
The
volume of calls while covering these areas not only provides
economic stability for the department for future growth and
training, it also provides a call volume that allows our EMT’s
remain proficient which is in the best interest of every
patient we care for.
The
dedication of the Baldwin EMS Department, United Fire and
Rescue, and access to an excellent local hospital save many lives
each year. Our medical direction is provided by Dr. Stoeckeler from
Baldwin Area Medical Center, our medical education and over site is
provided by Regions level 1 trauma Hospital in St. Paul,
MN.
Our
Mission
is to respond to emergencies, providing efficient and immediate care
for critically ill or injured patients within our district. We will
strive to protect our patient’s rights, their dignity and hold
their privacy in the highest regard. We will continue to improve the
quality of the department, care of our patients and our community
through education, training, programs and events while
being municipally owned.
